The Dark Side of the Forest, 2017
Performance/costume project based on the concept of wanting to be the light in the darkness for other people (symbolised by the light sheer fabrics). Within the dark forest, the performer dances, expresses power and resilience; only to struggle; fall themself. They have to realise that they are human after all, as weak and vulnerable as the people they try to protect and be strong for.
